Comparing visual inspection and performance observation for evaluation of hospital cleanliness

BackgroundEnvironmental cleaning is an effective measure to prevent infections. However, performance observation has been rarely delineated. This study aimed compare correlations among visual inspection, observation, and effectiveness by using adenosine triphosphate bioluminescence (ATP bioluminescence) as a comparator find out which method better assess hospital cleanliness.MethodsThis prospective was conducted at medical center from April 2019 October 2020.
